CALL FOR VENDORS 2026
February 3 – The Marketplace is now sold out for the 2026 PEI Fibre Festival however, we are keeping a waiting list in the event any of the vendors are unable to attend. Any further applications received will be notified and added to our waitlist.
The PEI Fibre Festival invites artisans, artists, businesses, and shops offering fibre-related products used in the creation of hand-crafted items to apply as vendors for the 2026 Festival. Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee using the criteria outlined below.
Artist & Artisan Vendors:
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Relevance of products and supplies to textile or fibre arts
- Technique
- Creativity
- Originality
*The PEI Fibre Festival welcomes vendors from all fibre art disciplines, including knitting, crochet, felting, hand spinning, weaving, rug hooking, and more. Priority will be given to vendors offering organic, small-batch, and hand-crafted products made from natural, untreated fibres. Approved vendors will receive a contract along with payment instructions.
Shopkeeper Vendors:
- Relevance of products to textile or fibre arts
- Originality of products offered
- Quality of products offered
*Please note: Shops may feature products from one (1) branded company per product type in their booth (for example, one needle brand and one yarn brand). This policy is enforced on a first-come, first-served basis to avoid multiple vendors carrying identical brands.
Marketplace Booth Assignment:
The PEI Fibre Festival Board is responsible for assigning booth locations within the Marketplace. While vendor requests will be considered, final assignments will be determined using the following priorities:
- Vendors who are Sponsors of the 2026 PEI Fibre Festival.
- Returning vendors, based on the date signed contracts and payments are received.
- New vendors, based on the date signed contracts and payments are received.
- Balanced vendor placement to maximize customer flow and Marketplace experience.
Final booth assignments will be communicated by September 18, 2026.
All applicants will be notified following the application review process. Successful applicants will receive an Acceptance Letter and Contract. Once the signed contract and payment are received, vendors will be contacted to provide information for inclusion on the Festival website’s Vendor page.
