CALL FOR VENDORS
PEI Fibre Festival offers the opportunity for artisans, artists, businesses and shops that offer fibre-related products to apply as a vendor for the 2023 Festival. The selection committee will utilize the following criteria:
For artists or artisans:
- Relevance of products (relationship to textile or fibre arts)
- Technique
- Creativity
- Originality
*The PEI Fibre Festival welcomes vendor applications from all disciplines of the fibre arts including knitting, crochet, felting, hand spinning, weaving, rug hooking and others. The festival will prioritize vendors featuring organic, small production, and hand crafted products using natural, untreated fibres. Decisions should be made by mid-March. We will then contact each accepted vendor with a contract and payment instructions.
For shopkeepers:
- Relevance of products (relationship to textile or fibre arts)
- Originality of products offered
- Quality of products offered
*Please note that shops are permitted to feature one (1) branded company’s products for each type of product they offer in their booth (example: one needle company, one yarn company, etc.) on a first come/first served basis, as to avoid multiple vendors competing with the same brands.
Vendors will be provided with an option to pre-order and pre-pay their lunches for Friday and Saturday, which will be delivered to your booth on Market Days. More information will be included in the vendor packages once vendors are selected.
