Vendor Application

It has come to our attention that there is an email circulating for what appears to be from the PEI Fibre Festival advertising vendor spaces available for the upcoming Festival in October.

THIS IS A SCAM!!

If anyone has received an email from [email protected] please delete!!! Do not respond or reply. All PEI Fibre Festival correspondence will come from emails that end with @peifibrefestival.com. If you are ever in doubt about whether or not the email you received is valid, please reach out to us directly rather than clicking through the link.

CALL FOR VENDORS 2026

June 16 – We are expanding! We have been able to increase our Marketplace space and as a result we are opening the Vendor Application Form again. If you have been put on our waiting list, you will be contacted. Please do not reapply.

The PEI Fibre Festival invites artisans, artists, businesses, and shops offering fibre-related products used in the creation of hand-crafted items to apply as vendors for the 2026 Festival. Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee using the criteria outlined below.

Artist & Artisan Vendors:

Applications will be assessed based on:

  • Relevance of products and supplies to textile or fibre arts
  • Technique
  • Creativity
  • Originality

*The PEI Fibre Festival welcomes vendors from all fibre art disciplines, including knitting, crochet, felting, hand spinning, weaving, rug hooking, and more. Priority will be given to vendors offering organic, small-batch, and hand-crafted products made from natural, untreated fibres. Approved vendors will receive a contract along with payment instructions.

Shopkeeper Vendors:

  • Relevance of products to textile or fibre arts
  • Originality of products offered
  • Quality of products offered

*Please note: Shops may feature products from one (1) branded company per product type in their booth (for example, one needle brand and one yarn brand). This policy is enforced on a first-come, first-served basis to avoid multiple vendors carrying identical brands.

Marketplace Booth Assignment:

The PEI Fibre Festival Board is responsible for assigning booth locations within the Marketplace. While vendor requests will be considered, final assignments will be determined using the following priorities:

  1. Vendors who are Sponsors of the 2026 PEI Fibre Festival.
  2. Returning vendors, based on the date signed contracts and payments are received.
  3. New vendors, based on the date signed contracts and payments are received.
  4. Balanced vendor placement to maximize customer flow and Marketplace experience.

Final booth assignments will be communicated by September 18, 2026.

All applicants will be notified following the application review process. Successful applicants will receive an Acceptance Letter and Contract. Once the signed contract and payment are received, vendors will be contacted to provide information for inclusion on the Festival website’s Vendor page.

PEI Fibre Festival Scam Email Alert!

There are a couple of emails going out inviting vendors or instructors to participate in the PEI Fibre Festival. They are NOT from the Festival!
Please ignore any emails inviting you to be a vendor or an instructor – they are spam. The only emails that are coming directly from folks affiliated with the PEI Fibre Festival will have (at)peifibrefestival.com, not (at)gmail.com. DO NOT click on the link, DO NOT share banking info or make any payments to them. The Marketplace is just about full and unless you have applied through the official website application form, your application will NOT be reviewed. Payment will not be requested until after you have received an official notification and contract.

For participants, please note our email as well – if it doesn’t come from the address above or from (at)tidalevents.io, it is spam.

Questions? Please contact us at info(at)peifibrefestival.com.
