We strive to make your ticket purchasing experience as easy and convenient as possible. Please take a moment to review this purchase policy which governs purchases made on our Site. If you have any questions, please contact us.
We use Tidal Events Management Systems as a ticket seller for the PEI Fibre Festival. Tidal Events Management Systems is what you will see on your credit card statement. Tidal Events Management Systems is an Internet-based, print-at-home ticketing service.
Methods of Payment
Tidal Events accepts several methods of payment to meet customer needs, including (among others) VISA, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards for your purchases.
Order Confirmations
After submitting payment information, if for whatever reason you do not receive an order confirmation or a confirmation e-mail or you are experiencing an error message, it is your responsibility to confirm whether your order has been processed. PEI Fibre Festival and Tidal Events will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
Cancelled or Postponed Events
Ticketed events will be refunded in full should an instructor or speaker be unable to attend, or if the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. If an event is canceled, refunds will automatically be applied to the credit card used by the customer at the time of purchase. In such instances, refunds will generally appear on your next account statement depending on your billing cycle. We cannot issue refunds to an alternate card unless your refund is rejected by the Tidal Event system. In such instances, we will attempt to contact you with details on an alternative refund method.
Refunds and Transfers
Do not order tickets unless you are certain you want them. All sales are final and refunds are allowed only in limited circumstances as described in this Purchase Policy.
Please note all Workshop, Marketplace, and Entertainment tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred. Please review event dates and times before finalizing your purchase.
What to do if I can no longer attend:
- You can easily transfer Workshop, Marketplace, and Entertainment tickets to another person by forwarding your email that contains your ticket to them. Once the ticket has been scanned it will no longer be valid.
- Requests for refunds for all tickets, except for tickets to the Marketplace, will be considered in exceptional circumstance only up to and including August 31, 2023, less a $25 admin fee if approved. Refunds will be subject to the PEI Fibre Festival’s ability to resell tickets.
- No refunds will be allowed for any reason for any tickets beginning September 1, 2023.
- Send requests for ticket refunds up to August 31, 2023, less a $25 admin fee, via email to [email protected].
If the festival is cancelled due to a Provincial Health Order, all tickets will be refunded.
