Elise Campbell is a textile artist based in Stillwater Lake, Nova Scotia. Working with wool and other natural fibres, she creates sculptural pieces that challenge traditional craft boundaries and expand the possibilities of wool as a medium. Through texture, surface design and historical references, her work explores the complex relationships between humans and the natural world. Utilizing both contemporary and traditional techniques her work has garnered recognition and support both locally and internationally as she strives to inspire, innovate and grow.
Elise was recently scouted and interviewed by the Homo Faber Organization and will be featured in the Canadian launch of fine craft Canadian artists!
