Felted Landscapes – Toos Omtzigt

Location: Level 1 – Tignish Room
Instructor will supply these materials:
- Instructor will provide prefelts, foam pads, felting needles, wool and embellishments.
Students to supply these materials:
- Participants to bring some pictures of landscapes, a couple of small towels, sharp scissors, a cup-size container (e.g., yogurt container), a sponge or ball brause, a piece of 12″ x 25″ bubble wrap and a bar of soap.
In this workshop you will learn how to create a felted landscape picture with wool, using wet and needle felting techniques.
There will be a many wool types in various colours to experiment with. You will take home two felted landscape pictures – one smaller postcard-size and a larger 12”x12” picture.
