Periwinkle Laine is Prince Edward Island’s newest fibre business which supplies and services to traditional and contemporary rug hookers (artists). They are thrilled to be part of the PEI Fibre Festival and are patiently waiting to welcome everyone to this year’s “In-Person” festival.
Owners Charlene Miller and Debbie Miller are creative, innovative and have a wealth of experience and drive. Their artistic talent is only outweighed by their passion to for all things wool, their addiction to colour and their desire to create beautiful art. They provide “free” advice and guidance and they have an uncanny ability to stimulate an individual’s creativity.
Periwinkle Laine’s wool cupboards are stocked full of mill and custom dyed wools and yarns, foundation cloth, and funky and fun fibres. They offer Island made products such as: hooks, in various shapes and styles, for rug hooking; rug hooking frames; and wooden frames for hooked rugs. They also offer repair and finishing services for antique and modern rugs; custom design patterns; and regularly hold workshops and retreats.
