Trudy Gilbertson is a jeweller and sculptor, carving original designs in bone, antler and wood. Sculpture, jewelry, ornaments and buttons are created with locally sourced beef bone and naturally shed antler. Her subject matter includes wildlife, the human form and all things marine. Sculptures incorporate driftwood, found objects and up-cycled materials as bases. Jewelry pieces include a unique line of carved shawl pins as well as earrings, pendants and bracelets.
