Students must supply these materials & Homework:
- 100m of a smooth, solid and light coloured worsted weight yarn, two 4mm circular needles and your standard notions kit. You’ll also need: a darning needle, a crochet hook appropriate for the yarn, two DPNs a size or two smaller than the ones you’re using for the swatch, and a pair of scissors or snips.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Gathered stitches, crossed stitches, fancy cast-on’s and cast offs, embossed knitting… this class is about managing tricky manoeuvres, difficult knitting and managing your knitting so you can level up
In this workshop, you will learn:
- Knitting strategies you can use when you’re trying to knit something difficult or different
- How to use the odd things that rare stitches and techniques have to offer to upgrade your everyday knitting
