Sarah Thompson was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She took up crocheting during her post-secondary education. In 2018 she began sharing her original crochet patterns online for free through her website, Rich Textures Crochet, and YouTube channel. In her crochet pattern designs and stitches, she loves to showcase texture. She now lives in rural Ontario with her husband, their children, two border collies and a hamster.
