Heavenly Bresser, Workshop Instructor, Spin From the Fold

Spin from the Fold – Heavenly Bresser

Maximum participants: 12

Spinning from the fold is helpful for adding a bit of loft to lengthy fibres. It also helps with maintaining a consistent draft when slippery fibres are part of a blend. This technique can be performed in many ways, which is a great advantage to the spinner. In this session, you’ll learn how to spin from the fold and how to make minor adjustments for the yarn you desire.

Materials needed:

2 ounces of long stapled fibre for sampling, spinning wheel or e-spinner in working order. At least one empty bobbin for sampling purposes. (Instructor will have additional fibres on hand for spinning from the fold.)

Tickets are non-refundable except in limited circumstances as described in the Purchase Policy.
