Mastering the Heel, Flap and Gusset – Julie Ann Lebouthillier
Maximum participants: 30
Do you find the heel flap and gusset heel intimidating? Come and join Julie Ann’s class while she walks you through step by step on how to knit this amazing heel. Bring your sock progress and turn the heel during this class. Don’t let the heel flap and gusset stop you from knitting an amazing pair of socks.
- 32″ circular needle US 1 or 1 1/2 ; 2.25mm or 2.5mm (or your preferred method of knitting socks, DPNs or 9inch) I’m familiar with all three of these methods.
- 32″ circular needle 1-2 sizes bigger than your original needles to knit socks.
- 300-400 yards of a fingering weight yarn. I recommend this be a lighter colour, no dark navy/blacks.

Rounds 1-10: *K2, P2; Repeat from * around.
Round 11: Knit every stitch.
