Simone Van Iderstine
Simone is a self-taught knitter, spinner, and weaver. She began her love affair with wool and hand crafts in her 20’s and has definitely made up for lost time. Knitting in stranded colourwork and Fair Isle are her favourite relax-time projects and spinning breed specific wools and animal fibres make her very happy. Simone enjoys processing raw fleece and hand carding, dyeing with both acid dyes and natural, locally sourced plant dyes, and working from indie dyed combed tops and fibres. There is not too much that she doesn’t love about wool!
