Colour with Kirk – Kirk Dunn

Enjoy a three-hour workshop with Kirk Dunn (also known as The Knitting Pilgrim), knitter and creator of the Stitched Glass tapestries. Kirk will talk about the use of multiple colours in his knitting to create a tremendous range of depth, colour and texture, and share the simple techniques he uses to achieve advanced results. Participants will practice these techniques on a pin-cushion project and will leave the workshop with a functional and multi-hued miniature pillow in which to store their collection of darning needles and stitch holders.

Attendees to Bring:

Patterns offered at the workshop are considered to be ’stashbusters,’ so bring yarn from your own stash or pull from Kirk’s at no extra charge. If you bring your own yarn, bring at least 3 balls of yarn in varying hues of each colour for a minimum of 9 balls (though the more you bring, the better). Variegated yarns are not suitable. Please bring scissors and needles (size 2.0 mm to 3.5 mm to 2.0 mm/size 9 to 14), straight or circular.

Tickets are non-refundable except in limited circumstances as described in the Purchase Policy.
