Samantha Myhre is a natural educator, entrepreneur, artist and in her words “wee farmer” who with her husband David, has combined her love of animals, fibre and colour to create a successful online business.
She has been sharing “stories of the string” most of her life as a knitter, crocheter, spinner, weaver and dyer. Samantha has created successful businesses in her adult life, including her most recent endeavour, RavensWood Fibre Co. Originally from the Canadian prairie, Samantha relocated to the Maritimes 7 years ago.
When not in the studio, Samantha defines herself as a shepherdess raising a small flock of Icelandic sheep with her husband. She brings a lifetime of education to share with those who wish to learn the fibre arts as well as beginning or enhancing their retail/online business.
