Good Fibrations

Fibre Art has been a constant companion to me since the age of four, and my livelihood since I was 20. 

Opened in 2014, Good Fibrations is the culmination of decades of learning, making, teaching, and selling all things wooly. Located in the historic Uptown of Saint John, NB, we have a shop and studio filled to the very brim with hand dyed yarn, fibre and finished woven items. Add to this carefully curated yarns, kits, equipment and notions, and we feel we have a Fibre Lovers Paradise.

We are perhaps best known for our spinning fibre, hand dyed on site, but we also use our hand dyed yarns to weave one of a kind wearables and household items on the many looms that we keep collecting. Knitted goods made exclusively from our own handspun yarn are available all year round as well.

Open to in-store and online shopping, Good Fibrations is a warm, welcoming place for knitters, spinners, weavers, felters and all other fibre loving folk.
